Almost over...

Well, orientation is done. I have two free days to goof off, so that's gonna be fun. But I still have one last ceremony thing to go to, and then its off to classes! (Thank god I bought formal clothes. Its only Semi-formal, but I still knew I'd need em.) Japan is freaking gorgeous!!! Akita is a farming prefecture, so there are a lot of fields, and forests. Its just amazing. Can't wait till the break though, I think I'm gonna go traveling down to Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka. See the sights. Anyway, hope you all are doing awesome, talk to you all later.

PS: Just so you know, 11 am my time is 7 pm, west coast time.

Morning people

So yeah... breakfast is at 7 am... If I wasn't jet lagged, getting up early would be a problem... I'll get used to it, but right now, I'm glad I'm waking up at 5-6 am in the morning. I have 45 min till the New Student Orientation starts, so I have a little time to kill, which is why I'm here. Then its, Orientation, Orientation, Orientation, all day... Hope you all are doing good, its beautiful here, wonderful weather as well. Barely a cloud in the sky.

JAPAN!!!

Its 7am, in Japan. Just got up at the Hotel. 2 hours till the shuttle to Akita International University. Had a great time getting here. No major problems, and the one that almost popped up on us I caught in the bud. So we all made it to our destinations safe and sound!

The hotel is great. Although their pillows leave something to be desired. Think could have been a rock. And it's gonna take some getting used to Japanese baths. I know your just supposed to stand over the tile floor. But I just couldn't. Ended up standing in the tub thats normally filled up and used for relaxing.

Anyway! I'll talk to you all later. Take care, more updates later today I hope.

To the Airport!!!!!

Away we go! 4:15 and on my way. Over 2:30 hours till my flight but it must be done. I'll update in San Fran.

Its 11:42 pm, and I'm going to be getting about 4 hours of sleep before I get up to go to the Portland airport. Flight leaves at 7 am. I'm really excited, I don't know how much sleep i'll be getting. I'll keep you updated! Oyasumi nasai!
